Property page customization
Property Page Customization Principle
The customization of object property pages is performed:
• in a development environment with any profile (except read-only profiles)
In a production environment for a Functional Administrator with a Saas "Essential" offer.• directly in an object property pages
Certain property pages are not available to customization. (for example: Overview, Diagrams, Reports). Actions
From the object property pages, you can perform the following actions:
• customize a page
• modify an existing page
Several existing pages can be modified in parallel.• create and add a page
Limitation: only one new page can be in draft at a time. Once the draft is confirmed (dispatched), you can create another page if needed.• add attributes
• add existing attributes
• create, add, and modify your own attributes
• modify your attributes
Once the draft is confirmed (dispatched), your attributes can no longer be modified.
The same attribute can be displayed several times.• organize the page
• sort attributes in sections
• reorganize sections and attributes
• dispatch, save, or delete
• directly dispatch your customization and thus apply it to all of the objects of the same type in all the Solutions
Page creation: only the current Solution benefits from this new page.• save your customization as a draft, or
• delete your customization or your draft
Any created attributes are deleted.Draft
As long as your customization is not complete, you can save it as a draft and continue the customization later on.
• Any other person can modify the draft.
In case of a new page, only the persons connected to the same Solution can modify the draft.• A draft can be edited by one person at a time only.
• Once the parameterization is complete, you (or another person) can dispatch it and thus apply it to all objects of the same type in all the Solutions.
The same object can have as many drafts as customizable pages. Several drafts can be edited simultaneously. Attributes created on a draft are not available for other drafts until dispatch.
