Introduction
In HOPEX, you can import external data in a structured manner via an Excel file. This operation enables you to:
• create or modify a list of objects
• connect objects through a given link
*If a default library is defined for you, the import process will search objects in this library and not in the whole repository. For more details on the definition of a default library, see Setting a Current Library.
To make sure your data import will run successfully, the import file must be structured in a way that is readable by HOPEX. This file must be created using :
• a standard template
• a template created or edited using the Excel template builder
