Activating the New Questionnaire Builder
Once the new Questionnaire Builder is activated through HOPEX Administration, the following things will happen:
• All existing Questionnaire Templates will be automatically flagged based on whether they are fully compatible with the new builder or not.
• Question Groups defined on objects, like Test and Execution Steps for Controls, will be converted into Questionnaire Templates, to provide a consistent user experience.
• All simple and multiple Direct Assessments will propose a new layout to the respondent.
To successfully migrate existing clients' environments, it is important to carefully test the impacts of the new Questionnaire Builder over existing client's data.
The recommended approach is to activate the new module into a development/pre-prod environment and follow the steps described below:
• Make sure no assessment/execution campaigns are in progress. It is important to ensure that campaigns are launched with a compatible questionnaire template.
• Activate the new Builder module via the HOPEX admin desktop client
• Use the Questionnaires Templates Compatibility report to fully understand all impacts of the new builder over the existing data (refer to chapter
Questionnaire Templates Compatibility)
o Rewrite computed questions
• Test the migrated templates launching ad hoc assessment/execution campaigns
• Test all direct assessment templates (e.g. execution/test steps on control)
