Accessing object properties
In HOPEX, you can :
• access object properties only when you need it.
• display the property page on a permanent basis (which is convenient if you need to manage several objects at the same time).
When you select an object, its properties are automatically displayed in the Properties window.
Accessing object properties (Web Front-End) 
To access an object properties in HOPEX (Web Front-End):
1. Connect to HOPEX.
2. Depending on where you are in HOPEX:
• Diagram: click the object and from the pie menu, select Properties .
• Tree: click the icon next to the name of the object and select Properties.
The Properties page of the object is displayed.
• Object list: select the object and in the Action column select Properties .
The Properties window appears and presents the properties of the object.
Accessing object properties (Windows Front-End) 
To access an object properties in HOPEX (Windows Front-End):
1. Connect to HOPEX.
2. Right-click the object (for example in a tree, result window, or diagram) and select Properties.
The properties window appears.
Displaying the properties window on a permanent basis (Web Front-End) 
You can choose to display the property windows in HOPEXon a permanent basis so as to view immediately the properties of an object.
To display the properties window on a permanent basis in HOPEX (Web Front-End):
1. Connect to HOPEX.
2. Click the edit area display button for Properties .
The Properties window appears in the Edit Area.
3. Select an object.
Its properties appear in the Properties window.

You can choose to display the property windows in HOPEXon a permanent basis so as to view immediately the properties of an object.
To display the object property window in HOPEX (Windows Front-End):
1. Connect to HOPEX.
2. In the HOPEX menu bar, select View > Edit Windows > Properties.
3. Select an object.
Its properties appear in the Properties window.
