Managing a Report (Web Front-End)
Refreshing report contents
If the described object is modified, the report is updated when next opened.
To update a report:
1. Open the report concerned.
*See "Opening a report (Web Front-End)".
2. Click the refresh button :
Exporting a report in PDF, RTF, or Excel format
When you open a report, this appears in an HTML page.
You can export report data or report chapter data in RTF , PDF , Excel format.
*To hide the export buttons on report chapters, see "Modifying report options".
To export the report content:
1. Open the report concerned.

2. From the report result, click the required export format located to the right:
of the report title to export the content of the entire report
of the report chapter to export the chapter content.
*The first time you open a separate window, your navigator may request authorization to open unexpected windows. If this is the case, accept.
*Use the button to modify the setup of the generated PDF file. For more details, see "Customizing the Page Setup of the Report in PDF Format".
Viewing the content of a data series
With certain reports you can view the content of a chart data series.
Example: in a quantitative type chart.
To view the content of a data series:
1. Open the report.

2. In the chart, click the series for which you want to view the content.
Roll the mouse over the series to highlight it.
If you have opened the report:
from your reports: a new List tab appears in the Result edit area. It lists the content of the series.
from a report: the content of the series replaces the display of the report in the Navigation area.
In the list, you can click:
Properties , to view the properties of an element in the series.
PDF or Excel , to export the elements of the series in .pdf or .xls format.
Instant Report , to generate an instant report for the series.
