Sketches
Sketching with HOPEX
HOPEX allows you to use drawings to create diagrams from shapes without needing to specify the type of object represented from the start.
This feature makes teamwork easier by using sketches without any methodological or formalism constraints. Sketching diagrams can then be reworked and transformed into diagrams recognized by an HOPEX solution.
A Sketching diagram consists of sketching items connected by sketching links.
Available Sketching items are:
• rectangles

• rombus

• circles

• triangles

• barrels

• folded corner rectangles

You can connect Sketching items with repository objects representing architecture elements.
To represent different connection types, several shapes of sketching lines are provided:
• Component
• Realization
• Consumer/Provider
• Flow/Transfer
• Sequence
• Dependency
• Super Type
