Enterprise Architecture (EA) Project Types
A method can be implemented in an EA project by using a project type.

An EA project type defines project typology such as description of a business process, mapping or development of applications, etc. A project type can be implemented using one or several methods.
Accessing an EA project type
To access properties of a project type:
2. In the Methodology navigation window, expand the "EA Project Type" folder.
3. Display the properties of an EA type project and click on the Methods tab/page.
The list of methods proposed to implement this EA project is displayed.
4. Select the Complements tab/page to view the list of AE project contexts.

An
EA project context can be an EA project type, a method or an EA deliverable.
Creating an EA project type
To create a project type from the navigation window:
1. In the Methodology navigation pane, right-click the "EA Project Type" folder and select New > EA Project type.
The Creation of an EA Project Type dialog box appears.
2. Enter its name.
3. Click OK.
The project type appears in the list.
