Creating EA Projects
Creating an EA project from the navigator

The
My Projects folder presents projects linked to the user.
To create a project:
2. Right-click the Projects folder and select New.
The Create an EA Project dialog box appears.
3. Enter the Name of the project.
4. Click OK.
The project is created and added to the list of projects in the menu tree.

In the project creation wizard, you can choose to base your project on a project type and on a
method. To do this, select
Next instead of
OK. For more details on the project creation wizard, see
EA Project Creation Wizard.

A method represents a series of actions carried out to achieve a goal. A method is described by a series of phases.
Creating an EA project in a diagram
To create an EA project in a diagram:
1. In the insert toolbar, click
EA Project 
.
2. Click in the diagram.
The Create an EA Project dialog box appears.
3. Enter the name of the project.
4. Click OK.
