The Project Scheduling Diagram
A scheduling diagram for enterprise architecture (EA) projects shows the sequencing of the different steps or the sequencing of projects with respect to each other.
The scheduling diagram is available with all the products in the HOPEX suite. It allows you to describe the sequencing of your organization, architecture, integration or development projects in conjunction with a formalized framework with a method.
Accessing Enterprise Architecture (EA) projects
An option is used to display the repository EA projects.
To activate this option:
1. In the workspace, open the Options navigation window.
2. In the left tree, select HOPEX Solutions > Business Process Analysis.
3. Select the Activate the menu “Implementation Projects” (Hopex V3.2 and lower) check box.
To access the list of repository EA projects:
*From the main navigation menu, select the Projects navigation pane, then Implementation Projects.
The list of EA projects is accessible.
Opening a Project Scheduling Diagram
Open a diagram in the workspace 
To access the diagram that describes an EA project:
1. Select the project concerned and click Preview project scheduling diagram.
2. If several diagrams are proposed, select Project scheduling diagram.
The project scheduling diagram appears.
Display an example 
"Voyages and Vacations" project scheduling diagram
The sequencing order of projects is represented by solid lines.
In the example above, the "Data exchange" project is a prerequisite for the other projects.
Splitting of a project into sub-projects is represented by dotted lines.
The "Voyages and Vacations" project comprises three sub-projects: "Reservations", "SET" and "Purchasing Automation".
Opening a diagram from another diagram 
The "Reservations" EA project is itself described by a diagram. You can open the diagram from the pop-up menu of the project.

"Reservations" project scheduling diagram
This diagram presents the various phases of the "Reservations" EA project with their progress percentage.
This diagram specifies that:
description of reservation procedures is completed
essentials of definition of technical architecture and general and detailed specifications have been carried out
configuration has begun
Still to be carried out are acceptance and the editing of technical documents and deployment plan.
Creating a New Project Diagram
To create a new EA project diagram:
2. Select the EA project and click New.
3. Select Project Scheduling Diagram.
An empty diagram opens.
