Editing a Diagram
You can access a diagram in edit mode from:
• the pop-up menu of the object described by the diagram
• a preview of diagrams
If needed, to the right of the diagram, you can display the Properties and the Review notes windows.
You can also hide the navigation panel.
Opening a diagram in edit mode
To open a diagram in edit mode:
1. Access the object described by the diagram.
E.g.: an object in a list or in a tree.
2. Right-click the object and select the <diagram type> to open the diagram describing the object.
The diagram opens in edit mode:
• in full page (when launched from a list)
• to the right of the tree (when launched from a tree)
3. You can:
• display the Properties window to the right of the diagram, to view the properties of the objects: in the navigation bar, click
Properties

• display the
Review Notes window to the far end of the diagram to add review notes on the objects: in the navigation bar, click
Review Notes 
.
Switching from view mode to edit mode
From a diagram preview, you can switch to diagram edit mode.
To switch to diagram edit mode:
1. Display a diagram preview.
2. In the diagram toolbar, click
Edit this diagram 
.
The diagram is displayed in edit mode.
Editing a Diagram in a New Browser Tab
To isolate a diagram from your HOPEX desktop, you can open the diagram in full page in a new browser tab.
You can update the diagram and at the same time navigate or work in your HOPEX desktop.
The diagram is saved when you close the browser tab.
To edit a diagram in a new browser tab:
1. Edit the diagram.
2. In the diagram toolbar, click
Open in a new tab 
.
The diagram appears in full page in a new browser tab.

If the new tab does not open, check the window blocker in your browser.
3. Edit the diagram in the new tab.
4. You can:
• display the Properties window to the right of the diagram, to view the properties of the objects: in the
HOPEX bar, click
Properties 
.
• display the
Release Notes window to the far end of the diagram to add review notes on the objects: in the
HOPEX bar, click
Review Notes 
.
• anticipate the diagram saving (dispatch): in the diagram toolbar, click
Save
