Inserting External References in a Diagram
To insert an external reference in a diagram:
1. In the diagram, click the Views and Details button.
2. In the dialog box that opens, select External References.
3. In the Insert toolbar, click External reference and then click in the diagram frame.
The Add External Reference dialog box appears.
4. In the Name box, click the drop-down list arrow and select Query/List/Propose to find an existing external reference.
If the external reference does not exist, select Create and go to Creating an External Reference Connected to an Object.5. Select the external reference and click OK.
6. The name of the external reference appears in the Add External Reference dialog box.
7. Click New.
The external reference appears in the diagram.
