Introduction to UI Access Management (Permissions)
UI access management (permission management) is only available with the HOPEX Power Supervisor technical module.

• HOPEX Administration, in the UI access window
• HOPEX, with the HOPEX Customizer profile, in the Permission Management window
To manage UI access in the Administration desktop (Web Front-End), see "Managing UI Access (Permissions)", page 173.UI access (permission) is managed at profile level.
The UI Access and Permission Management windows enable management of UI access for the complete environment and for each profile:
To modify UI access of a profile, you must have modification authorization rights on this profile. To modify a profile supplied by MEGA, you must create a new profile, see "Customizing an Existing Profile / Creating a Profile from an Existing Profile", page 46.• Object UIs details for the selected profile its access to UI of objects and its access to tools specific to these objects.

Accessing the UI Access window (HOPEX Administration)
To access the UI Access window:
1. Connect to HOPEX Administration and select the environment concerned.
2. Expand the User management folder of the environment.
3. Right-click the UI access folder and select Manage.
The window for managing UI Access opens.
4. Click the tab:
• Object UIs
• General UIs
Accessing the permissions from HOPEX
To access the permission management window:
1. Connect to HOPEX with the HOPEX Customizer profile.
2. From HOPEX menu bar, select Tools > Profile and Permission Management > Permission Management.
The Permission Management window opens.
3. Click the tab:
• Object UIs
• General UIs
