Creating a Data Model
The data model is designed to contain modeled elements. It is described by one or several data diagrams.
*The data model is also owner of entities and associations derived from a synchronization (logical to conceptual). For more details on synchronization, see “Synchronizing logical and physical models", page 73.
To create a data model:
1. In MEGA, select the Main Objects navigation window.
2. Right-click the "Data Models" folder and select New > Data Model.
3. In the dialog box that opens, enter its name.
The data model created appears in the navigator.
*You can also create a data model from a database. See “Connecting a Data Model to a Database", page 59.
