Finding Objects in a Diagram
Using Backgrounds
You can place an image or define a color as a background to your diagram. By default, no background is selected.
To place an image as a background:
1. In the View menu, select Background.
2. In the Background dialog box, select the Type of background Image.
3. Click the Browse button to display a dialog box where you can browse the directories and select the image file (Bitmap, Metafile or MEGA shape).
4. In the View frame, select the type of background image:
On screen
In printed document
In reports (MS Word) and Web sites
5. In the Position and Size frame, define the position of the background by entering values or by positioning the background in the preview:
coordinates of top left corner (X, -Y)
dimensions (Width and Height) in the drawing
6. Click OK.
The background is included in the shapes loaded in the diagram.
