Visio Import Options
Accessing Visio Import Options
To access options related to Visio Import:
1. In the HOPEX desktop, click My Account > Options.
2. Click Data Exchange > Import/Export Synchronization > Tools/Third Party Formats.
The right pane displays the options related to Visio import.
Defining a Default Configuration File
Mappings between Visio and HOPEX objects can be saved in a configuration file.
You can define a configuration file to apply by default when importing a Visio file.
To define a default configuration file:
1. Access the Visio import options.
2. In Visio Import: Configuration file path, specify the file path.
Defining the Shape Size of Imported Items
You can apply to imported items the size of the shapes defined in Visio or the default size of standard elements in HOPEX.
To define the option regarding shape size:
1. Access the Visio import options.
2. Select the value of Visio Import: shape size via the drop-down menu. By default, the Visio shape size is applied.
Replacing existing diagrams
An imported element can have different diagrams.
When the option is unchecked, HOPEX creates a new diagram.
When the option Visio import: Replace existing diagrams is selected, HOPEX replaces the existing diagram by the imported diagram. If there is more than one diagram, use the import wizard to choose which diagram to replace.
Importing Elements in the Current Library
When the option Visio Import: Import to the current library is selected, elements imported are automatically linked to the current library.
