Creating an Ideation Campaign
To create an ideation campaign:
1. Click the navigation menu, then Ideation.
2. In the navigation pane, select Ideation Campaigns.
3. In the edit area, select All Ideation Campaigns.
4. Click New.
The creation of an ideation dialog box appears.
5. Enter the name of the campaign.
6. Click Next.
7. Specify:
• the campaign dates
• the associated capability
8. Click OK.
Assigning an Ideation Campaign to Persons
The persons assigned to an ideation campaign are those authorized to create and comment on the ideas in the campaign.
To assign a person or a person group to an ideation campaign:
1. Click the Ideation navigation pane then Ideation Campaigns.
2. In the edit window, select the campaign in question and in the
Action column, click the
Properties button.

3. In the properties window, click the drop-down list then Assignment.
4. Click New.
5. In the dialog box that appears, select a Person or a Person Group, as well as their Business Role.
• Campaign manager
• Campaign participant
6. Click OK.
Repeat this procedure to assign other persons to the campaign.
Depending on his/her role, a person has access to a lesser or greater number of properties for campaign ideas:
• The innovator can create an idea and provide a brief description
• The portfolio manager can, in addition, define the idea category, the associated objects, etc.
Starting an Ideation Campaign
To start the ideation campaign:
1. Click the Ideation navigation pane then Ideation Campaigns.
2. In the edit window click the campaign icon and select Campaign Workflow (New) > Start.
The campaign switches to "In Progress" state.
When the campaign is open:
• The stakeholders receive a notification informing them of their participation in the campaign, with a link to the campaign. They can see the ideation campaigns "in progress" in which they are involved in the "My ideation campaigns" list.
• The stakeholders involved can create new ideas within the campaign, and they can also comment on the ideas of others on their wall (collaborative functionality).
Adding Ideas to the Campaign
To add an idea to the campaign:
1. Click the Ideation navigation pane then Ideation Campaigns.
2. In the edit window, select the campaign in question and in the
Action column, click the
Properties button.

3. In the campaign properties, click the drop-down list and then the Characteristics page.
4. Expand the Gathered Ideas section.
5. Click New.
The creation dialog box for an idea appears.
6. Specify the name of the idea and click OK.
The key appears in the properties of the campaign.
You can specify the subject of an idea, for example, a business capability of the capability map associated with the campaign.
Assessing the ideas collected
To assess the ideas of a campaign:
1. In the properties of the campaign, select the Assessment page.
2. Click New Assessment.
3. Select one of the following options:
• All: to assess all the ideas
• Some: to assess some ideas
Evaluation lines appear for each idea selected. Assessment criteria are associated with these assessment criteria. You can select the criteria values in the corresponding columns.
In the properties of an idea, the Assessment page displays the results of the latest assessment performed on the idea.
