Business Documents are used to manage several versions of a specific document in an HOPEX repository. These can be, for example, legal or financial documents updated by org-units outside the enterprise.

A Business Document is connected to an object of the repository. Unlike an external reference, a Business Document content, evolutions and versions are managed by an HOPEX end user.
