Snapshot of a Data Catalog
The purpose of snapshots is to collect performance indicator values at regular intervals that allow for data quality control.
You can create a snapshot of a set of metadata when importing the metadata into HOPEX Data Governance.
To view a snapshot of a physical data set:
1. Click the Tools navigation menu.
2. Under Data Discovery click Snapshots.
3. Select:
• the data catalog
• the deployed data store
• the snapshot created during the import of the metadata. See Running HOPEX Data Discovery.
