Introduction
HOPEX features different wizards facilitating data exchanges with Microsoft Excel:
*a wizard to export HOPEX data towards an Excel file
*a wizard to import data from an Excel file into HOPEX
*a wizard to build up Excel templates
The use of Excel in parallel of HOPEX enables you to expand your repository, to carry out changes over it, and to harness your data in a context independent from HOPEX.
The wizards especially ensure that HOPEX properly manage the Excel files. You can then:
• create your own Excel templates compatible with HOPEX
• import or export data between your repository and an Excel workbook
• carry out changes over your repository via Excel
E.g.: mass-modifying attribute values
These features are available from the Main menu of your interface.
The wizards support two file formats: .xls and .xlsx.
