To rename an object in a diagram without opening its properties dialog box:
1. Click on the name of the object inside the object shape.
A box with a dotted border appears, defining the text area to be modified.
2. Press the <F2> key.
3. Enter the new object name in the box that appears.
4. Click outside the box to validate your modification.
The diagram type can be changed after creation. To do this:
1. In the diagram pop-up menu, select Change Diagram Type.

This command only appears in the menu if the diagram can change type. It appears for example in a flowchart. It is available only in
HOPEX Windows Front-End.
2. In the Diagram Type Change dialog box, select the New type.
The diagram types proposed depend on current diagram and described object types.
3. Click OK.
HOPEX proposes two types of persons:
• Business persons: designates persons in the organizational charts, the properties pages of certain objects such as projects or for document reviewing.

A business person holds a position in an organization. It is designated by its name. Example: Mr. Smith.

For more details on a use example of business persons, see the section "Distributing a Report (MS Word) for Review or Validation" in
HOPEX Common Features.
• Persons (System): used for example in HOPEX solutions to enable users connected to HOPEX to be declared owners or managers of objects used in the solutions.

A person (System) represents a person in the enterprise. This person can be assigned a login and a role (or a profile depending on the connection mode). The login provides access to the HOPEX Application. The role (or the profile) defines the access to product functions and repositories. A system person, if assigned a login, has a specific desktop in each database, and can connect to this desktop from any workstation in a given environment.

For more details on a use example of business persons (system), see the section "Threads of Posts and Alerts on Objects" in
HOPEX Common Features.
An option is available for using HOPEX persons (System) as business persons in the properties pages of objects in the same way as for business persons.
To activate this option:
1. In the workspace, select Tools > Options.
2. Double-click the Business Process and Architecture Modeling icon.
3. Select the check box in the System Person Management field.
In addition, a second option is used to continue to use the business persons in HOPEX applications:
1. In the workspace, select Tools > Options.
2. Double-click the Business Process and Architecture Modeling icon.
3. Select the check box in the Business Person Management field.

To more easily replace your business persons with persons (system), you can select the following two options:
Business Person Management and
System Person Management.
