Financial Data
To access organization products and accounts:

In the
Environment desktop, select
Financial Data.

This navigation tab is not available in the
HOPEX IT Risk Management solution.
Products
A business line is associated with products proposed by the enterprise to each of its markets. These products constitute a link between a business line and the processes that assure production.

A product represents commodities offered for sale, either goods or merchandise produced as the result of manufacturing, or a service, ie. work done by one person or group that benefits another.

A product can be split into component products from its properties page.
To create a new product from an existing product:
1. In the Environment desktop, select Financial Data.
2. Display the products tree.
3. Click the product that interests you.
The properties dialog box of the object appears on the right.
4. In the Sub Product section, click the New button.
The name of the new product appears in the list of products in the described product.
5. Select the product you have created, press <F2> and modify its name.
To specify the product type:
1. Open the properties of the product that interests you.
2. In the Product Type field, select a value:
• Goods
• Complex
• Services
In a dedicated section you can also create and view the incidents that have happened and are related to the product.

This object type is not available in the
HOPEX IT Risk Management solution.
Financial Accounts
HOPEX enables definition of accounts connected to an entity.
To access accounts:
1. In the Environment desktop, select Financial Data.
2. Display the tree of accounts.

This object type is not available in the
HOPEX IT Risk Management solution.
Characteristics available on the account are:
• Account type
The profits and losses account presents a description of profits and losses of the enterprise during the fiscal period. You can specify if the account is:
• "Profits"
• "Losses"
• Total Value: you can enter a total for this account.

An order of magnitude is sufficient.
• Status
• "Open": the account is active
• "Closed": the account is inactive

The account can comprise sub-accounts.

You can connect an entity to an account in the
Scope section of the account.
