A compliance theme is a grouping of compliance activities of a same process or regulation. Compliance themes can be broken down into sub-compliance themes according to company process hierarchy.

The shape associated with the compliance theme changes whether it is connected to a business process (blue), an organizational process (red) or a regulation framework (yellow).
