Saving an instant report as a report
You can save an instant report as a report to:
• access the report at any time
• customize the report display (e.g.: display of values, caption format, titles).
When an instant report is generated from:
• a list, you can customize the report information when you save the instant report as a report
• a Report DataSet, you can filter and customize the instant report before saving it as a report.
Saving an instant report generated from a list
To save an instant report generated from a list:
1. Launch your instant report.
2. In the report result page, click
Save as Report 
.
The report creation dialog box appears. It indicates the report description.
3. In the Create Report page, enter the report Name.
4. Click Next.
The Parameters window contains the sections:
• Parameters which contains parameters already specified, as well as additional formatting parameters.
• Presentation which contains customization parameters for the report display
5. (Optional) In the Parameters page, specify the input parameters of the report.
6. Click Next.
The Report chapters window displays the report chapters that you can modify.
7. (Optional) In the Report Chapters window, select Open Automatically to expand the chapter automatically when it opens or when the report is refreshed.

By default, the chapters are folded.
8. Click OK.
The report is saved in your reports.

From here you can now open the report and modify its name and properties.
Saving an instant report generated from a Report DataSet
To save an instant report generated from a Report DataSet:
1. Launch your instant report.
2. In the report result page, click
Save as Report 
.
The report creation dialog box appears.
3. In the Create Report page, enter the report Name.
4. Click OK.
