Running the Query Tool

The query tool is available:

• from the workspace, using the query bar or by clicking

• from other MEGA tools such as diagrams, the explorer, etc.

Different modes, each corresponding to a tab, are available depending on how the query tool is run (from the workspace or from another MEGA tool).

Querying from the workspace

You can run the query tool from the workspace:

• from the query bar to execute a simple, fast query, as described in paragraph "Using the Query Toolbar".

• by using the complete query tool (which offers several query modes) by clicking button

When run from the workspace, the query tool bar proposes the main query modes:

• Assistant

• Recent queries

• Queries

Querying from another MEGA tool

The query tool can be called from numerous MEGA windows or tools (explorer, diagram, etc.).

For example it can be called from a diagram if you wish to add an object.

When run from another MEGA tool, the query tool bar proposes the following tabs in addition to the three standard modes:

• Result (see "Query Results")
