Creating a Book
A book is organized in chapters, sub-chapters and paragraphs.
To create a book:
1. In the Documentation navigation window, right-click the Books folder and select New > Book.
2. In the Creation of Book dialog box, enter the name of the new book and specify the library to which it should be attached.
3. Click OK.
The book is created and added to the list of books.
Creating a chapter
To create a chapter:
1. In the Documentation navigation window, right-click the book and select New >Book Chapter.
2. Enter the name of the new chapter.

You can retain the default name of the chapter.
3. Click OK.
The new chapter appears under the book folder.
Creating a Sub-Chapter
To create a sub-chapter:
1. In the Documentation navigation window, right-click the chapter and select New > Book Chapter.
2. Enter the name of the new sub-chapter.

You can retain the default name of the sub-chapter.
3. Click OK.
The new sub-chapter appears under the folder of the selected chapter of the book.
Creating a paragraph
To create a paragraph:
1. In the Documentation navigation window, right-click the book, the chapter or sub-chapter, and select New > Book Paragraph.
2. Enter the name of the new paragraph.

You can retain the default name of the paragraph.
3. You can enter a comment for the paragraph if required.
4. Click OK.
The new paragraph appears under the selected chapter or sub-chapter.
Creating external references
External references are of type:
• File or URL.
An external reference enables association of an object with a document from a source outside MEGA. This can relate to regulations concerning safety or the environment, legal text, etc.
Location of this document can be indicated as a file path or Web page address via its URL (Universal Resource Locator).
• SWF
The external reference of SWF type must be located in a MEGA directory (mega_std or mega_usr of site).
To create an external reference:
1. In the Documentation navigation window, right-click the paragraph and select New > External Reference.
2. Select the reference type.
3. Enter the name of the reference.

You can retain the default name of the reference.
4. Enter its access path.
5. Click Finish.
The external reference appears under the selected paragraph.
