Creating a Library
Exporting Library Content
*Libraries are collections of objects used to split repository content into several independent parts. They allow creation of virtual partitions of the repository. In particular, two objects owned by different libraries can have the same name.
Creating a Library
*Creation and management of accesses to the different libraries must be done under the supervision of the Hopex repository administrator. The number of libraries should be limited to avoid creating too many duplicates of the same object.
To create a library:
1. From the Environment navigation menu, select Container > Libraries.
2. Select the Library folder and click New > Library.
The library creation dialog box opens.
3. Enter the name of the library.
4. If appropriate, enter the name of the Owner.
5. Click OK.
The library appears in the hierarchical tree.
Exporting Library Content
Export of a library includes all objects owned by the library and, hierarchically, all objects owned by each of its objects.
