Checking Syntax and Getting Help
When writing a query, you can:
• click the Analyze button to check syntax of the query without executing it.
• obtain help on the metamodel.
To obtain help on the metamodel to find the name of a MetaClass, MetaAssociation or MetaAttribute:
*Insert a question mark (?) next to the metamodel element for which you require help.
A help dialog box appears:
This dialog box displays the MetaAssociationEnds, MetaAttributes or MetaClasses you can access at that point in the query, based on its previously defined query path.
Double-clicking an element in the help list box will replace the question mark with the name of the element.
