SV-1 Defining Application Systems
Application System Structure Diagram
This diagram describes the internal structure of an application system. It contains:
• services offered or required
• the application components and their interactions; these are application systems, applications and microservices,
• end users interacting with the application components
Scenario of Application System Flows
An application system flow scenario represents the flows exchanged between certain elements of the application system in a given context. The elements represented are:
• application systems,
• systems,
• micro services,
• operator participants (organization units or position types),
• stores of internal or external application data,
• input or output application ports.
The interactions offered between these elements:
• application flow channels that group a number of system flows on a single link,
• application data channels that represent the interactions between the application data stores.
Application System Deployment Architecture
An application system deployment architecture describes one of the configurations possible for deploying the systems of a system application. It describes which technical architecture is chosen for each of the systems that it contains and the communication protocols that they use to communicate with each other.
The elements represented are:
• deployment architectures,
• deployable data package,
• technical communication lines.
