Saving an Instant Report as a Report
You can save an instant report, so that at any time you can:
• access the report
• customize the report display (e.g.: display of values, legend format, titles).
When an instant report is generated from a Report DataSet, you can filter and customize the instant report (in the Configuration section) before saving it as a report.
When the instant report is launched from a list:
• an entire list or a set of objects selected unitary in the list: the report keeps the exact list of selected objects.
• a set of object built through a filtering (or query): the report keeps the filtering (or query).

Note: the filtering on calculated attributes is excluded from this case.
Examples:
Filter the list of technologies whose Company standard is “Prohibited”, the saved report uses the same filtering to retrieve the technologies.
Filter the list of applications whose expenses exceed €40,000, the saved report uses the same filtering to retrieve the applications.
To save an instant report:
1. Launch your instant report.
2. In the report page, click
More
> Save As Report
.

If the instant report has been launched on a set of objects built through a filtering (or query), a message informs you that the selection criteria are kept for each report generation.
3. Enter the report Name.
4. Click OK.
The report is saved in your reports.

You can modify the name of the report and open the report to edit and customize it; see
Managing Reports.
