Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD)
Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD) determines the maximum time a business can tolerate the absence or unavailability of a particular application.
Downtime consists of two elements, the Recovery Time Objective and the Work Recovery Time: MTD = RTO + WRT
MTD level will be calculated automatically according to RTO and WRT levels, it cannot be modified manually.
-Critical (maximum tolerable downtime is seconds)
-Serious (maximum tolerable downtime is minutes)
-Significant (maximum tolerable downtime is hours)
-Minor (maximum tolerable downtime is days)
