Exploded Diagram Report

This report enables the building of a summary view of a complex object architecture into one single diagram ; it consists in the generation of an exploded diagram view of a complex object by inclusion in a diagram describing the root object, of some of the diagrams describing the objects mentioned in the source diagram, recursively, so that several diagramming levels can appear in one picture.

Report Parameters

Report Parameters	Object type	Details
Diagrams to open	Diagram	The list of diagrams to draw in the root diagram.
Insert Border		This parameter allows insertion of a border around the opened object's selected sub-diagram; this can be useful when the sub-diagram does not already include a frame for example.
Ratio		Allows to choose the ratio with which the sub-diagrams open. 1.0: all opened diagrams have their original size. 2.0: all opened diagrams are twice bigger than their original size.
Recompute Links		If set, this option enables to reroute all links which go to or from an opened object to the appropriate target in the sub-diagram (e.g. an interaction to or from the object may trigger a service point or be triggerred by a request point in the sub-diagram); otherwise, the line from the top diagram remain at the same position as drawn initially.
Root Diagram	Diagram	The starting point of our exploded view.
Root Object
Set the ratio relative to the opened object		If this option is selected, the ratio is relative to the size of the object in the diagram. For example, for a ratio of 1.0, the object and its sub-diagram are the same size. If this option is not selected, the ratio applies to the diagram to be included. For example, a ration of 0.5 means the diagram included is twice smaller than the source diagram.
