Workflow Participant
A Workflow Participant enables definition of the set of Person (System) that can be assigned to a Workflow Transition in the framework of execution of a Workflow Instance.
Person (System)s assigned to the Workflow Transition can trigger it.
When a Person (System) triggers a Workflow Transition, Person (System)s who can trigger the next Workflow Transitions must be assigned to it.
Depending on configuration of the Workflow Participant and next Workflow Transitions, Person (System) assigned to next the Workflow Transitions are either automatically computed or requested of the Person (System) triggering the current Workflow Transition.
Assigning a Person (System) to a Workflow Transition in the framework of execution of a Workflow Instance enables specification that an operation is expected and that this Person (System) can execute it. One of the assigned Person (System) can then trigger the Workflow Transition to indicate that he/she has performed the corresponding operation.
