A Request for Change enables expression of a comment concerning change to be made to an object.

The Comment enables definition of the request.

The object(s) concerned can be connected to the Request for Change by the Related Object link.

Depending on configuration of the Workflow Definition associated with Request for Change, Person (System) Recipient are either automatically computed or must be specified by the Person (System) making the Request for Change.

A Workflow Instance is associated with each Request for Change to assure follow-up: having been assigned, the Request for Change is evaluated, which results in its acceptance or rejection.

In the case of acceptance, Design task can be assigned from the Request for Change to manage execution of the request.
