Adding a Column to a Key or Index

To add a column to a key (or to an index):
1. Open the properties of the table concerned.
2. Click the Characteristics page.
3. In the Index section, move the mouse over the index and select Properties.
The properties dialog box of the index appears.
4. Click the Columns page.
5. Click the Connect button.
The query dialog box appears.
6. Find and select the column to be added to the key (index).
It is possible to indicate the sort order of the key or index, which can be “Ascending” or “Descending“.
