Tabular Mode Options
Configuring the diagram default opening mode  
An option allows you to define the default opening mode of all your diagrams. Possible options are the following:
Diagram Editor: all the diagrams will be opened in graphical mode.
Tabular Entry: all the diagrams available in tabular mode will be opened with tabular mode.
Ask the user: when creating a diagram, the user will be able to choose between graphical mode and tabular mode.
To configure the default diagram opening mode:
1. From the Main menu, open the Options window.
2. Select Compatibility > Diagram > Choice of diagram opening mode.
3. Select the default diagram opening mode.
Modifying the edition mode of a diagram 
From the tabular entry mode to the graphical mode
When editing a diagram in a tabular entry mode, you can easily switch to the graphical mode. To do so:
*Click the Edit the diagram button.
The diagram is displayed in diagram edition mode.
From the graphical mode to the tabular mode
When editing a diagram in a tabular entry mode, you can easily switch to the graphical mode. To do so:
1. Click the More options button.
2. Select Diagram properties.
3. Select Tabular entry in the Edition mode field.
The diagram is displayed in tabular entry mode.
*The display of objects in the diagram may vary when you switch from the graphical mode to the tabular mode (the position of objects is recalculated).
Modifying the default diagram opening mode 
When a diagram is created in graphical mode, the graphical mode is the default opening mode of this diagram. Similarly, when a diagram is created in tabular mode, the tabular mode is the default opening mode of this diagram.
If need be, you can change the default opening mode of a diagram. To do so:
1. Access Diagram properties with the More options button.
2. In the Edition mode, select a value between:
Diagram Editor: this diagram will be opened by default in graphical mode.
Table entry: this diagram will be opened by default in graphical mode.
Ask the user: when opening this diagram, the user will be able to choose between graphical and tabular modes.
*The display of objects in the diagram may vary when you switch from the graphical mode to the tabular mode (the position of objects is recalculated).
Advanced configuration  
An advanced configuration of the Tabular entry mode is available with HOPEX Power Studio.
For a given type of diagram, it is also possible to configure functionalities including:
the order of tabs associated with the object types represented,
the display of a tab that provides an overview of all the objects in the diagram,
the content of columns for a given object type and display order,
the list of profiles authorized to use tabular entry mode.
