Modifying the Repository with the Explorer
Creating objects 
To create an object from another object:
1. Right-click the object type you want to create and select New.
The object creation dialog box appears.
2. Name the object and click OK.
The object is created.
Copying and pasting objects 
To copy an object or a group of objects:
1. Select the object(s) to be copied.
2. Right-click and select Copy.
To paste the object or group of objects you have just copied:
*Right-click in the tree on the left where you want to place the objects and select Paste.
*When you paste objects in the explorer, the explorer automatically creates links between the objects you paste and the next object up in the hierarchy. This explains why you cannot paste certain objects in certain positions.
Connecting, disconnecting and deleting objects 
To connect objects using the explorer:
1. Click an object type in the left pane of the window.
2. Right-click in the right pane of the window and select Connect.
The Query dialog box opens.
3. In the Query dialog box, specify the selection to be applied and click Find.
4. In the results window, select the objects to be connected.
5. Click OK.
The objects to be connected appear in the explorer window and are connected to the object.
You can also:
disconnect two objects.
delete repository objects
A deletion confirmation message appears. Use the delete command with caution.
*It is possible that your authorization, defined by the administrator, limits deletion to those objects that you yourself have recently created.
Modifying object properties 
To modify the properties of an object:
*Right-click the object and select Properties.
You can modify characteristics of the object.
The details entered appear in the right pane of the window.
*You can also indicate characteristics by entering them directly in the main explorer window.
