Predefining a URL address
To simplify administration of external references, you can predefine addresses:
A Predefined address avoids having to browse the complete path when you create an external reference stored at this address. You need only enter the rest of the basic URL address in the URL text box to create an external reference:
You can create predefined URL addresses for the most frequently accessed URL addresses.
To predefine a URL type address:
1. In the Creation of External Reference (see Creating an External Reference), in the Predefined Address box, click arrow and select Create Predefined Address.
2. In the Creation of Predefined Address box, enter the Name of the URL address to be predefined.
3. In the URL box, enter the complete URL of the page you wish to reference.
*A URL address often begins with "http://www."
4. Click OK.
In the Creation of External Reference dialog box, the URL address you have created is automatically selected in the list of predefined URL addresses.
