Creating a Data Model (IDEF1X)
To create a data model:
1. In HOPEX, click the Logical data navigation pane.
2. In the navigation pane, click All data models.
3. In the edit area, click New.
The data model mapping creation dialog box opens.
4. Enter the name of the model.
5. Click OK.
The data model appears in the list of data models.
Data Diagram (IDEF1X)
A data diagram is a graphical representation of a model or of part of a model.
To create a data diagram:
Right-click the data model and select New > Data Diagram (IDEF1X).The data diagram opens.
