Running the Explorer
Launching Explorer in Windows Front-End
To run the explorer in HOPEX Windows Front-End:
From the desktop, select Tools > Explore or click button 
in the toolbar.The explorer window opens. Note that the window is empty because you did not select an object before running the explorer.
To select the object to explore in the explore dialog box:
1. In the explorer menu bar, select Explore > Object, or in the explorer toolbar click button 
.
.The Selection of an object dialog box opens.
2. In the left pane of the window, click the object type to explore. For example, select "Org-Unit".
The list of "Org-Unit" objects appears in the right pane.
To consult the objects that surround an object, for example an "Org-Unit":
In the right pane of the Selection of an Object window, double-click an org-unit.The explorer window opens and describes the selected object.
The list on the right shows the object types and links that characterize the object.
To explore an object, you can also right-click the object that you wish to explore and select Explore. Launching Explorer in Web Front-End
To run the explorer in Web Front-End:
Right-click the object you wish to explore and select Explore.
