Comparing Objects Using the Explorer (Windows Front-End)
The HOPEX explorer allows you to compare objects.
You can, for example, compare two organizational processes.
To run a comparison on objects:
1. Select the objects to be compared holding the <Ctrl> key down, then right-click.
2. In the pop-up menu that appears, select Compare and Align.
An explorer window opens. It presents the comparison of the two selected objects. The red folder contains the objects compared.
The number between brackets preceding the object name identifies the object. This number is used in other folders of the explorer to identify the objects compared.
In the example below, you can see that certain org-units are used in both organizational processes (Carrier, Customer, Finished Products Storage).
