Creating a Library
Creation and management of accesses to the different libraries must be done under the supervision of the HOPEX repository administrator. The number of libraries should be limited to avoid creating too many duplicates of the same object.To create a library:
1. (HOPEX Windows Front-End) Select the Home navigation pane, which is displayed by default.
2. (HOPEX Web Front-End solutions) Using the Environment desktop, select Enterprise and select the Container Tree tile.
3. Right-click the Library folder and select New > Library.
The library creation dialog box opens.
4. Enter the name of the library.
5. If appropriate, enter the name of the Owner.
6. Click OK.
The library appears in the navigation tree.
Modifying the presentation of objects in a library
With HOPEX Windows Front-End, objects in a library tree can be grouped in two ways:
• either by type: objects are stored in folders by type.
This form of presentation is active by default. A folder is created only if there is at least one object of the type.• or by name: objects are presented in alphabetical order.
To modify the presentation of objects with HOPEX Windows Front-End:
1. In the Home navigation pane, right-click the repository name and select Regroup > By Name.
2. Expand a library to view its list of objects, now presented in alphabetical order.
