Gateway type
A gateway can be of the following types:
- Exclusive (Data): the process can take two or more exclusive alternative paths depending on data. It is the default gateway type.
- Exclusive (Event): the process can take two or more exclusive alternative paths depending on events
- Exclusive (Instantiate): the process is triggered by the first incoming event. the other events are then ignored
- Inclusive: the process can take simultaneously one or more paths
- Parallel: the process takes simultaneously several parallel paths
- Parallel (Instantiate): the process is triggered by the first incoming event. but other events occurring during the process are also taken into account
- Complex: the process can take a complex combination of paths
