Specifying Technologies
To specify technical characteristics of an application:
1. Open the application properties.
2. Click the drop-down list then Characteristics.
3. Expand the Technology section.
You can:
• connect existing technologies to the application
• create new technologies.
*A technology is a definition or format that has been approved by a standards organization, or is accepted as a standard by the industry.
*A report covers the list of applications by technology. See "Analyzing an inventory portfolio", page 74.
