Workspace and profiles
The navigation panes correspond to the various types of objects or various steps of a project. Depending on your connection profile, the object types displayed vary.
Presentation of space common to all roles
All HOPEX IT Portfolio Management users have access to the following panes:
• Home: provides quick access to user objects.
• Dashboards: displays the list of indicators required to steer objects such as processes, applications or org-units.
• List of tasks: displays the tasks assigned to the user.
Functional administrator space
In addition to the panes offered in standard mode to all desktop users, the Functional Administrator has access to the following navigation panes:
• Administration: used to manage users and profiles.
• Environment: used to organize all repository elements, It allows the Functional Administrator to define the work environment. See "Preparing the Work Environment", page 20.
• Inventory: management pane for application assets. Folders enable viewing of applications created outside an inventory portfolio, applications without owner, deployed applications, etc.
• Evaluation: pane dedicated to evaluating portfolios and associated applications.
• Campaign Management: used to manage evaluation campaigns.
• Transformation: pane dedicated to transformation portfolios.
• Reports: presents a set of dynamic reports that enable repository data analysis according to different perspectives.
Application Portfolio Manager space
In addition to the panes available in standard mode to all desktop users, the application portfolio manager has access to the three Inventory, Evaluation and Transformation navigation panes. These are specific to each step of an application portfolio management project. The application portfolio manager also has access to the Reports pane.
Application owner space
The Application Owner, like the management controller or the business function manager, has access to the following shared navigation panes only: Home, Dashboards and List of tasks.
Technology Portfolio Manager space
The Technology Portfolio Manager has the same tabs as the Application Portfolio Manager. The difference is in the accessed objects: technologies and technology portfolios.
Technology Director space
The Technology Manager has the same tabs as the Technology Portfolio Manager. Additionally, he has the validation technology task.
