Customizing your EA desktop (Web Front-End)
Below are a few tips to customize and organize your Enterprise Architecture (EA) desktop (Web Front-End) ("Enterprise Architect" business role / "EA Standard" profile).
Configuring your EA desktop (Web Front-End)
To configure your EA desktop (Web Front-End) and access certain functionalities, you may need to modify the options at the user level.
To access options at the user level from your EA desktop (Web Front-End):
In the
Miscellaneous tool group, click
My Account 
and select
Options.

Hiding a navigation Pane
To hide navigation panes:
From the
View tool group, click
Navigation Trees 
and clear the tree you wish to hide.
To redisplay a navigation tree, select the corresponding check box.
Folding navigation panes
You can fold navigation panes to the side to access these only when required.
To fold the navigation panes:
Click the double arrow
to the right of
Navigation Trees.
The navigation windows fold to the side.
To redisplay the navigation windows, click the double arrow pointing to the right
.
Unfolding the advanced search window
To unfold the advanced search window:
Click the double arrow
to the right of the edit area pointing to the left.
The navigation windows fold to the side.
To fold the search window, click the double arrow pointing to the right
.
Displaying and Docking Object Properties Windows
You can:
• display the properties page when required with a right-click on the object.
• dock the properties window to display it permanently.
To dock the properties window of objects:
In the
Display options group, click
