Indicators and Dashboards
Indicators

An indicator is a measure of achievement of an objective, impact of a risk factor, frequency and impact of a risk, effectiveness of a control, etc.
For the quantitative objectives, the indicator(s) are generally easy to find.
To assess to what extent qualitative objectives are achieved, specific indicators may need to be created.

Dashboard
To assure control of the enterprise, it is necessary to group the relevant indicators in a dashboard.
A dashboard enables preparation of a list of objectives and indicators required for control of an enterprise business process, application or org-unit such as a service.
The dashboard concept can be accessed in the properties dialog box of the main objects used in project control:
• Business Processes and Organizational Processes
• Org Unit
• Applications
You can open the properties dialog box of an indicator from its pop-up menu.
