Enterprise Assets
Global description of an enterprise information system can be limited to presenting servers used and applications and databases sending and receiving information exchanges.
This navigation tab is not available in

Description of the context in which a risk management project is carried out can be supplemented by description of:
• IT applications
An application is a set of software tools coherent from a software development viewpoint.
• databases
A database enables specification of data logical or physical storage structure.
• servers that host them
A computer which provides a service to the users connected to it via a network. This computer can have a database or run applications.
To access IT assets:
In the
Environment desktop, select
Assets.
To view for example characteristics of an application:
1. Click Application in the assets tree on the left in the edit area.
The applications tree appears in the Edit Area.
2. Expand the Applications folder.
The list of applications appears.
3. Select an application.
Its properties appear on the right of the edit area.
Similarly, you can view characteristics of
Server and
Database type.
