Zooming in Windows Front-End
You can scroll your diagram on the screen without using the scroll bars, by dragging the mouse with button held down in the direction you want. Note that you can also do this when selecting or moving drawing objects.
View > Scale allows you to modify view mode:
Actual Size displays the elements at the size they will appear when printed, as a function of dimensions indicated for Page Setup in the File menu.
Select Current Page to see the entire page on which you are currently working. The scale is adapted to show the entire page.
Select Pages Used to see all pages containing at least one drawing object of the diagram.
Select All Pages to see the entire diagram.
Select Previous Scale to see the last scale used to display the diagram.
*View > Page Boundaries allows you to view, in the workspace and in the zoom window, the boundaries of pages containing the diagram.
To view the entire diagram, to move rapidly within it and to modify the display scale:
*In the View menu, select Pan and Zoom Window.
To go to a particular location in the diagram:
*Click the desired location in the zoom window.
The place where you clicked (if it is not too close to the edge of the diagram) will appear in the center of the main window.
Note that you cannot use this method if the entire diagram is displayed (All Pages).
You can also specify the area of the diagram in which you want to work by dragging the mouse to define a rectangle around it: only the selected part appears; the scale automatically adapts to fill the window.
