This attribute specifies schedule type:

 

- activity: schedule days and hours define the time periods considered as active for the object using the schedule.

 

- inactivity: schedule days and hours define the time periods considered as inactive for the object using the schedule.

 

Example :

The salesperson org-unit uses the activity schedule 'Normal day' and the inactivity schedule 'Holiday'.

The 'Normal day' schedule defines the following periods: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 08h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00. The salesperson org-unit is considered as being active during these periods.

The 'Holiday' schedule defines US legal holidays. This inactivity schedule 'masks' the 'Normal day' activity schedule and the salesperson org-unit will therefore be unavailable on these days.

 

Remark: time ranges not found in the activity calendar are naturally considered as inactive. For example, use of the 'Normal day' calendar alone is sufficient to indicate that the salesperson org-unit is not available on Saturday or Sunday, or after 18h00 on weekdays.
